Why is an anti-glyphosate filter needed?

Glyphosate on its own, without additives, does not dissolve in water and, due to its molecular size
in both reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration.

However, most commercially available glyphosate products contain additives that dissolve the glyphosate in the water.
As a result, the glyphosate can no longer be retained by the membrane. This makes subsequent filtering necessary.
